About Us
Light, with feeling.
Juniper Lanes is an independent lighting studio inspired by the quiet beauty of lived-in interiors, European vintage design, natural materials and the warmth of everyday rituals.
We believe a lamp should do more than illuminate a room. It should change the feeling of the room.
From the search for a softer kind of light.
Juniper Lanes began with a simple observation: some of the most memorable interiors are not defined by expensive objects, but by atmosphere.
A warm pool of light beside a sofa. A small table lamp glowing late in the evening. A linen shade filtering daylight in a quiet bedroom. A sculptural ceramic base resting on an old wooden table.
These small moments became the foundation of our design language. We wanted to create lighting that feels considered without feeling formal, expressive without becoming excessive, and timeless without looking distant.
Juniper Lanes brings together influences from French vintage interiors, mid-century forms, natural textures, traditional craft and contemporary simplicity.
A language of
quiet contrasts.
Our collections are built around balance: old and new, structured and organic, refined and imperfect, practical and poetic.
Warmth
We favor light that feels soft, welcoming and human rather than overly bright or clinical.
Character
We look for sculptural silhouettes, tactile finishes and subtle irregularities that give an object a sense of personality.
Balance
Every piece is considered as part of a room, allowing statement forms and quieter objects to coexist naturally.
We design lighting with the surrounding space in mind. The goal is never to dominate an interior, but to add depth, softness and a distinctive sense of place.
Beauty begins
with what you touch.
Materiality is central to our approach. We are drawn to surfaces that reveal texture, reflect light differently and become more beautiful when experienced up close.
Natural Wood
Warm grains and organic variation bring a grounded quality to our lighting, allowing each piece to feel connected to the furniture around it.
Textiles
Linen, woven and fabric shades soften the relationship between light and space, creating a more atmospheric glow.
Ceramic
Ceramic introduces weight, tactility and sculptural presence, especially when paired with softly diffused illumination.
Metal & Details
Carefully selected metal elements provide structure and contrast without overpowering the softer materials around them.
Made to become
part of your home.
Quality for us is not simply about appearance. It is about how a product feels when it arrives, how naturally it fits into a room, how thoughtfully its materials are selected, and how well its design continues to make sense years later.
Considered Materials
We prioritize materials and finishes that contribute to the visual and tactile character of each design.
Balanced Forms
Proportion, silhouette and light distribution are considered together rather than treated as separate details.
Small Things Matter
From shade proportions to surface texture, we believe the smallest details often determine how a piece feels in a room.
Beyond the Trend
Our aim is to create pieces that remain visually relevant as your interior evolves around them.
A home should feel collected, not completed.
We are drawn to interiors that evolve slowly. A vintage chair beside a new lamp. A handmade ceramic object on a simple shelf. Books, textiles, plants, memories and everyday objects gradually creating a space that belongs to the person who lives there.
That is why we do not think of lighting as a finishing touch. Light changes how materials look, how colors feel and how a room is experienced throughout the day.
A good lamp can make a corner feel intimate. It can make a reading chair more inviting. It can turn an ordinary evening into a quieter ritual.
